Description
Tavanic 500 MG Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that contains Levofloxacin. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections affecting the lungs, skin and urinary tract (kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra). Tavanic 500 MG Tablet is effective against a large number of bacteria. It cures the infection by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.
Tavanic 500 MG Tablet can cause side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Tavanic 500 MG Tablet can cause muscle damage, usually in your ankle.
Tavanic 500 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food around the same time every day. Once you start treatment with Tavanic 500 MG Tablet, it is recommended to finish the entire course to prevent the development of bacterial resistance.
Tavanic 500 MG Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy due to the risk of severe side effects on the joints of the developing foetus. Consult your doctor before using Tavanic 500 MG Tablet if you are breastfeeding. Avoid using Tavanic 500 MG Tablet if you have kidney, liver problems as it can worsen your condition.
Tavanic 500 MG Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness and alter your eyesight. Hence, do not drive vehicles or do anything that requires your alertness after taking this tablet. Avoid taking antacids or dairy products like milk or curd for at least two hours before and after taking Tavanic 500 MG Tablet as it may interact with them.
