USE
Terbinafine belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to treat fungus infections of the scalp, body, groin (jock itch), feet (athlete's foot), fingernails, and toenails. This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.
SIDE EFFECT
Diarrhea or stomach upset may occur. If either of these effects lasts or gets worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Changes in your sense of taste/smell or loss of taste/smell may occur.
PRECAUTION
Before taking terbinafine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
