USE
Amoxiclav powder for oral suspension is used in infants and children, less often in adults, to treat the following infections: middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections.
SIDE EFFECT
Amoxiclav may worsen some existing conditions or cause serious side effects. These include allergic reactions, convulsions (seizures) and inflammation of the colon. You should watch out for some symptoms while your child is taking this medicine to reduce the risk of problems.
PRECAUTION
Check with your doctor right away if you have pain or tenderness in the upper stomach, pale stools, dark urine, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or yellow eyes or skin. These could be symptoms of a serious liver problem. Amoxicillin and clavulanate combination may cause diarrhea, and in some cases it can be severe.
