Description
Septrin Paediatric 40 mg/200 mg per 5 ml Oral Suspension (called 'Septrin Paediatric Suspension' in this leaflet) is a combination of two different antibiotics called sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim, which is used to treat infections caused by bacteria.
Septrin Paediatric Suspension can be used to treat: urinary bladder or urinary tract infections (water infections). respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis. ear infections such as otitis media.
SIDE EFFECTS
- Stomach upset.
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Diarrhoea.
- Itching and skin rash.
- Black or tarry stools.
- Shortness of breath.
- Unusual bleeding or bruising.
- Yellow eyes or skin.
