USE
These are anti-malaria medicines that interfere with the growth of parasites in the red blood cells of the human body.
PRECAUTION
Avoid in congenital QT prolongation, history of symptomatic cardiac arrhythmias, with clinically relevant bradycardia or with severe cardiac disease, family history of congenital prolongation of the QT interval or sudden death, disturbances of electrolyte balance (eg, hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia).
SIDE EFFECT
Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, weakness, fever, chills, tiredness, muscle/joint pain, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cough, and trouble sleeping may occur.
