USE
Asamalyn Syrup is used to prevent & treat wheezing, narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, and coughing caused by lung diseases such as asthma, and long-term obstructive pulmonary disease. This medicine works by relaxing and opening the muscles of the airways.
SIDE EFFECT
tremors, dizziness, nervousness, headache, sleeplessness, nausea, dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, hyperactivity and excitement, tachycardia, palpitation, peripheral vasodilation, epistaxis, cough, increased appetite, epigastric pain or stomachache, insomnia/sleeplessness, weakness, and rarely muscle cramps.
PRECAUTION
Salbutamol causes peripheral vasodilation which may result in reflex tachycardia and increased cardiac output. Caution should be used in patients suffering from angina, severe tachycardia or thyrotoxicosis. Cardiovascular effects may be seen with sympathomimetic drugs, including salbutamol.
