Dopatab M250 is a medication primarily used to prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of stroke in people who have previously had strokes or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs). Helps prevent blood platelets from sticking together and forming clots.
Dosage:
One tablet of 250mg three times a day with meals. Dose may be adjusted by doctor based on patient's response.
Precautions:
Should be avoided by people with artificial heart valves, hemophilia, low blood counts, active stomach ulcers. Requires caution if severe liver or kidney dysfunction.
Side Effects:
May cause headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach. More rarely may see allergic reaction, liver dysfunction signs, muscle problems.
