USE
gentamicin is used in adults and children 1 year of age and older to treat skin infections caused by certain bacteria. Topical gentamicin is in a class of medications called antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria that cause infections.
SIDE EFFECT
Skin irritation, redness, and itching
may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor
or pharmacist promptly. Remember that this medication has been
prescribed because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is
greater than the risk of side effects
PRECAUTION
Before using gentamicin, tell
your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other
aminoglycoside antibiotics (such as tobramycin, amikacin); or if you
have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problem
