Description
Contiflo OD 0.4 mg Capsule contains Tamsulosin used in men to relieve the symptoms of benign prostate hyperplasia (enlargement of the prostate gland located below the urinary bladder). The symptoms include painful urination, difficulty in passing urine, and urinary urgency or frequency. This medicine does not decrease the size of the prostate gland.
Contiflo OD 0.4 mg Capsule shows side effects like dizziness and erectile dysfunction (inability to get and maintain an erection firm enough for sex). It may cause dizziness in some people, so avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, seek a doctor's consultation at the earliest. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Contiflo OD 0.4 mg Capsule can be taken with food. You should not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.
Contiflo OD 0.4 mg Capsule should be used with caution if you have any eye condition. A doctor's supervision should be indicated if you are undergoing eye surgery while on Contiflo OD 0.4 mg Capsule medication. Moreover, it should be avoided if you have a risk of erectile dysfunction.
