USE
This medication is a mineral supplement used to treat or prevent low amounts of potassium in the blood.
A normal level of potassium in the blood is important. Potassium helps
your cells, kidneys, heart, muscles, and nerves work properly.
SIDE EFFECT
confusion;fast or irregular heartbeats;a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;weakness or a heavy feeling in your legs;numbness or tingling in your hands or feet;unusual tiredness;trouble breathing;black, bloody, or tarry stools
PRECAUTION
Certain medications for blood pressure or heart disease like lisinopril, losartan, quinapril, valsartan.
Medications that lower your chance of fighting infection such as
cyclosporine, tacrolimus. NSAIDs, medications for pain and inflammation,
like ibuprofen or naproxen. Other potassium supplements should be avoided when taking these medication
