Description
Ulsakit Soft Gel Capsule is a triple therapy combination used to treat peptic ulcers and other ulcers caused by H. pylori. It contains Omeprazole 20mg, Clarithromycin 250mg, and Tinidazole 500mg
Omeprazole belongs to a class of antisecretory compounds that suppress gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. It blocks the final step of acid production, leading to inhibition of both basal and stimulated acid secretion irrespective of the stimulus.
Ulsakit is indicated for the eradication of H. pylori in active chronic gastritis, duodenal and gastric ulcers.
It is also used to treat the following conditions:
- Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis (ABECB)
- Acute maxillary sinusitis
- Bacterial Infections
- Bartonellosis
- Community Acquired Pneumonia (CAP)
- Infective Endocarditis
- Lyme Disease
- Mycobacterial Infections
- Otitis.
