Torsinex 20 MG Tablet is a diuretic medicine (water pill) that helps to remove excess water and sodium from the body through urine. It is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is also used to treat excess fluid build-up in the body tissues, mostly in the feet, ankles, and legs, due to various conditions such as heart, liver, or kidney disease.
Torsinex 20 MG Tablet shows side effects like electrolyte imbalance, headache, dehydration, frequent urination, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. It may also cause dizziness or vision disturbance in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or your vision is not clear after taking this medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Torsinex 20 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Your doctor may determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Take it around the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Continue taking this medication even if you feel well. If you stop taking it without consulting your doctor, your condition may worsen.
Torsinex 20 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have anuria (a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine). This medicine should be used with caution if you have liver or kidney problems or electrolyte imbalance (abnormal concentration of electrolytes in the body). Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines to avoid interaction with Torsinex 20 MG Tablet. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
