ADVANT (Candesartan cilexetil) is indicated for the treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II-IV) in adults with left ventricular systolic dysfunction (< 40%) to reduce cardiovascular death and to reduce heart failure hospitalizations.
SIDE EFFECTS
The most common adverse reaction was headache and dizziness. The adverse reaction that occured very rare include back pain, upper respiratory tract infection, pharyngitis and rhinitis.
PRECAUTION
Candesartan should not be used during pregnancy. It is considered unsafe and may harm the baby. Consult your doctor for more information.
