Description
Shalcip injection contains antibacterial agent ciprofloxacin, which is used in treatment of respiratory tract infections(e.g. pneumonia), lung and bronchial infections in children suffering from cystic fibrosis (genetic disorder of glands that make mucus and sweat), long lasting or recurring ear or sinus infections, urinary tract infections (bladder and kidneys infection) in adults and complicated urinary tract infections in children, genital tract infections (e.g. gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease), gastro-intestinal tract infections (e.g. Severe gastro-enteritis), intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, anthrax inhalation exposure in adults and children.
SIDE EFFECTS
Ciprofloxacin Injection is generally well tolerated. During clinical trials in a large number of patients, adverse effects related to drug occurred infrequently and were commonly reported as diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, restlessness and rash
