Description
MAXITROL eye ointment is indicated for the short-term treatment of steroid responsive conditions of the eye when prophylactic antibiotic treatment is also required, after excluding the presence of fungal and viral disease.
SIDE EFFECT
- Severe allergic reaction: swollen eyelids, redness, itching, rash, shortness of breath.
- High eye pressure: blind spots in side vision, vision loss, eye pain.
- Cataract: blurry vision, seeing double, seeing faded colors, can't see well at night, seeing a halo around lights.
PRECAUTION
Maxitrol should only be used on the surface of the eye. Don't put Maxitrol in your mouth, nose, or anywhere else on your body, or use as an injection into any parts of the eye.
